The drives been flashed to Pioneer Ud04 firmware for Bdxl, Uhd, 4k, libredrive, Makemkv support. You can use this with Makemkv to make MKV files of your Dvds, Blu-Rays and 4k Blu-Rays. It's powered by Usb. You can power it with a laptop sata power connector and connect it with a sata lead, if you want to. It has come from a working laptop. But, the usb adapter is included if you prefer to use it externally.
